Now not going ahead. At least not for the moment.

Fury now to fight again in May or June against an opponent tbc.

Parkers name being mentioned.

Bloody boxing politics.

Money for old rope.

Well, I'm not paying for fights that I don't regard as worth it that's for sure.

i must confess to a growing likening for Fury.

He is obviously mental and doesnt care who he offends when he opens his big slab trap. The BBC just cannot handle him and cannot shut him up.

its like the 1970s all over again. Unscripted looneys on the telly making a fool of themselves. Comedy gold.

I get what you're saying but this is also a man who has made openly homophobic comments... Like most travellers in my experience they have no time for homosexuals or people of a different race.

So what? What is this absurd requirement to approve of different groups? Muhammad Ali said a lot of stuff as well, yet he's loved.

There are other reasons why someone might not be too fond of Fury.

These damaging views are quite prevalent in travelling communities, though with him there are clearly religious and mental illness aspects thrown in the mix. He wasn't making coherent statements.

There are aspects of Fury that are likeable since his return, above and beyond his guts and spirit in the ring. He appears to now want to help rather than hinder, by throwing his weight behind mental health and suicidal prevention efforts. Being community minded not all about himself.

It's annoying. I don't think there's been a fighter I've found myself rooting for one minute then pissed off with the next as much as Fury.

He's chosen the money over the 'golden era'. My only hope is that there is such demand for the Wilder rematch that there's a good chance it'll happen before long anyway. It's more complicated now though, no doubt about it.

Not so sure that's the case... he wasnt fit when he fought Wilder and with a new 5 fight deal it makes sense to get more training and another workout under his belt before he does.

Point taken about not being fit. My concern is that with so many different streaming companies and TV networks now in the mix between Fury, Wilder and Joshua it complicates things. I definitely think Fury has weighed up this huge deal against the fact that winning a rematch isn't ever going to be a formality. I don't blame him for doing so, but it does potentially throw a spanner in the works.

Frank Warren still singing the same song "bum of the month" he's been cheating the public for years with rubbish fights and rubbish undercards.

I no longer go to any of his promotions for that reason.

I hope the public vote with their wallets and leave Fury and Josuha in no doubt that we want to see the big fights .

Completely agree with that. As soon as he signed the deal it meant that with 3 different broadcasters in the with hats in the ring the liklihood of a unified champion is further away now than ever.
