One way or another I can easily see Wilf leaving the pitch before the end of the game today. Winding him up is basically Watford's game plan, and of course it's working.

The ref clearly doesn't see what's happened so either Wilf has said something or he has just guessed which is really poor. Watford look like they're looking to win it through sheer muscle, which we have struggled with in the past. I really hope Wilf sticks it to them and helps us get a win. I also hope no one gets injured for us as I can see some more dodgy challenges second half, especially with nasty Pearson hovering.

The Premier League love to use the same refs for the same fixtures. Absolute nonsensical tradition. It’s so obvious Martin Atkinson feels some misplaced guilt complex over awarding Wilf the penalty in the playoff final and thereafter has always given them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their aggressive treatment of Wilf. Shame he didn’t give Wilf a red when Kesemele fouled him. Then would have been overturned by VAR and he would have looked the prat briefcase w@nker he is!
