I have been critical at times this season but VAR aside we are in a good position with decent points which considering our lack of goals and injury list is quite incredible!
Well done the players, Roy and his team and CPFC generally.
Come on you Palace!!

No, sorry I'm not having that! Enough is enough.... we've been striped up by VAR and the FA. Sure we're having a good season cos we're a decent club, but are you gonna sit back and say VAR was right. Fvk off right now..... if I was Wilf or Meyer I would have walked straight off the pitch ffs.

I'm livid and I'm gonna do damage over this.

You sit back and comply with VAR and the fuxking FA bvnch of cvntz

do you not realise we actually have more points because of VAR?

A number of dodgy VAR offside decisions this weekend have fans quite rightly up in arms.

I believe in athletics the winner is the person whose torso crosses the line rather than their head or other body part. The point being that a part of the body is specified. Now the torso may not be appropriate in football but maybe offside could be about their feet position rather than armpit offside which MOTD are calling these decisions.

Anyway it needs looking at with a clear rule for next season.

It is not just the fact that goals are being chalked off which is bad for the game it is the effect on those games.
We go 1-0 up early we may have won easily? Norwich would have gone 2-0 up and likely won important points. It made no difference to Brighton ultimately of course.
Wilf's foot was slightly ahead of the last players foot but it was not enough of a reason and I am sure they will change it next season.

If it doesn’t give them an unfair advantage, if a small amount of an arm or foot is minutely offside I don’t think it should be ruled out. No human can control that and it’s going to stop players from trying to run in behind. The zaha one is ridiculous to be honest, tossers who chalked that off.

Makes you wonder what these dick heads are looking at, VAR was supposed to help the referee’s out and simplify matters, instead total confusion has taken over...

In the final analysis the VAR made a judgement as per Law 11 (Offside)which states that a player is deemed offside if
any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent.
VARs are making decisions based on the law as it stands.

We benefitted from an exceedingly marginal decision when Ayew scored at W.Ham and yesterday we suffered as a marginal decision went against us.

Whether VAR should rule on offsides at all or other parameters and protocols introduced is of course a matter for debate, there has been ample debate on this subject to-date and of course will continue.

..but then again the art of defending comes into it, we especially rely on good solid defending to get results and if anyone actually thinks about it it would have been very harsh on that defending team to lose a goal in that situation too.

Yes, we have to have rules and at the moment this is how it works, once they decide and once the season starts they simply cannot change their system.

I have heard some pundits opining that there will be changes to VAR next season but this is a matter for conjecture.
