📰 Crystal Palace are pushing ‘incredibly hard’ to sign 18-year-old Angers SCO left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri. Competition from Atlético de Madrid is expected #CPFC

📰 Palace have ‘accelerated’ to try and get a deal done in this window. They have so far had ‘several exchanges’, both with the Ligue 1 club and the player’s entourage [L’Equipe] #CPFC

Bigger clubs are interested so I doubt we'll be able to get him.

18 year old LB who plays in the French league.

This is the link. As usual we need Matteo to pass his eye over it. Me? With so many injuries, any signing is a good signing!

A bit about his style of play. Sounds the dog’s ....! Sign him up!

This always makes me laugh... Why do we??... Genuine question.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Because he knows more about football and players than me, tho that isn’t saying a lot!

rollocks are the metal open ended rings which rowers fit their oars into whilst making their way from Putney to Mortlake for example, I think you mean b*llocks although all rowing boats do have a pair of rollocks and one cox

next lesson: futtocks

Coincidentally, the company I work for, I am collaborating on a project with my French colleagues based in Saran. One of the guys there is from Angers and supports them. When I saw this rumour yesterday I messaged him to jokingly say we were nicking his player. He then video called me and said this guy is a top prospect with a few U21 caps and has everything. Gets forward, great cross on him, excellent positioning for a youngster.

He did say though, that he wouldn't expect him to go for anything less then 15million euros and even then he thought he'd go for more and to, in his words, 'a cloob mooch bettair than Kchrystol Paleeece'

This guy is back in training after his broken jaw, with the last couple of wins moving us much closer to safety, is now the time to be working on deals for players like him?

But the main question for us is: can he play as a holding midfielder?
