With the benefit of hindsight the model look flawed.
When Hodgson goes, which manager of any ambition is going to want to work in that set up?
Either new owners need to be found or the model has to change.
We have the oldest squad in the Premier League ,increasingly injury prone with no young players coming through that are likely to challenge the first team any time soon.

In a nutshell.

Scott Banks in, loaned straight out.
I think we are actually worse off.
Think the Doug is trying to undercut Roy to get him out, take over on a caretaker basis, and hang on to the job because nobody else will come. Dougie is then a Premier League Manager. I think thatís the plan.

Spot on. Dougie is a snake who has wanted the managers job back as soon he found out Bolton were broke.

If we go down either this season or next heíll probably get his wish as well

G Guita, Hennessey
RB Ward, Kelly LB PVA, Riedewald
CB Cahill, Tomkins, Sakho, Dann
CM3 Luka, Kouyate, McArthur, McCarthy, Meyer
A3 Zaha, Ayew, Tosun, Townsend, Benteke, Schlupp

That is a decent squad when most are fit, no more squad players are needed unless some go, one or two real quality players are needed but they are hard to get just ask Man U, Spurs and Arsenal, I think if Wilf goes in the summer things will change

That's a middling bang average ageing squad with quite a few who need to be got rid of. Replacements via transfers or youth team don't seem to be on the horizon. 7 seasons in, and atrophy via lack of investment is taking its toll.

You are absolutely right. We have two games coming up and then a two week break. By the time we play again nearly everyone will be fit. The current squad are more than capable of getting the 10 or so points required from the remaining games so there's nothing to worry about. It's not the clubs fault we didn't get Ferguson or Bowen over the line. If we had done most people
would be saying it was a good window.

Sakho wins the ball , moves forward and passes it to Meyer , who moves the ball onto Wilf , he beats a few players and puts a cross in which fall to Benteke who buries the ball into the back of the net .
Not sure why you want to get rid of these four players .

That's 21, so who are the other 4? Plus Tosun and Schlupp are expected to be out for another three or four weeks and there's no return date for Sakho. Without assuming an ostrich position and putting on red and blue tinted spectacles, I find it difficult to be persuaded that "no more squad players are needed".

How is it possible not to have filled a vacant loan position?
