Some very delusional thinking on here tonight. Trump has lost. There is no great fraud. A fat egotist simply can’t admit he’s been beaten. He’s had his time and what a disaster it was. Trumpism has lost this election but it won’t go away. Somehow America needs to find a way to reunite at least to some degree. I greatly dislike Trump and all he stands for but many millions don’t - in the US and over here. They’re not stupid and they have their reasons. Delusional or not some serious bridge building needs doing.

That's why the system is stress tested and observers appointed. There is even an international consortium of independent observers scrutinising the procedures. There will be the occasional fraud discovered but they are just as likely to favour Trump as Biden and there is nil chance that they will amount to anything approaching the scale to alter one of the state results, let alone several of them. Sorting that out can be done in the coming weeks, as it always is but the big picture will soon be clear. Once that is obvious tradition demands that the loser calls the winner, concedes and offers full support. They do that in the interests of their country and democracy. Losing graciously is the mark of a real winner. So Trump is about to prove to everyone what many of us have known for years. He is a small-minded loser who only cares about himself.

Its made this year not quite so bad, and for a great weekend, waiting for the don to talk is like waiting for match of the day after we won the villa park semi against the champions!Obviously, most of us were on the way back from the game so didnt see it on bbc live- the first live game i believe- or live semi final at least! God bless the UNITED states of America- or just over half of the population- their is hope after all!
