Of course but that wasn't the point was it. You were suggesting that at that age people are always past it, when they aren't. It depends. On top of that, he has chosen Harris as his VP and she is clearly the future.

I would suggest that anyone at the age of 82 which he would be at the end of his term is too old for the job. Hence the suspicion that he’ll only be in post for a short while. It certainly does depend but judging by his memory lapses and other slips that upon which it depends is not that which he processes to any great degree.

We'll see. Biden appeals to many anyway, as a kindly, ethical and experienced safe pair of hands. To them Trump is a dangerous, self-obsessed reality TV President and life is not a game show.

Then there are those who think Trump has been sent by God, value their freedom to be idiots over any collective responsibility or are just plain ignorant.

Without the "let's try him" motive in play fortunately the first group seems likely to outvote the second this time.

Here we go, just like Brexiteers, anyone who supports Trump is an idiot. You really are tiresome at times.

Do you mean the kids in cages, the COVID bleach "scandal", "Russian Collusion" or some other bollox?

Not that any of this really matters much.

In terms of Trump all we are seeing is the real seat of power (the deep state if you will) ejecting someone from power who is simply getting in their way.

This whole 4 years has just been a preparation for something that these same people have been doing for decades all around the world by manufacturing a revolution and replacing it with a more "liberal" regime that goes along with the relentless globalisation and commodification of the entire world under central banking and corporations.

You lefties only go along with this because they can manage to make you feel good about this process.

1991 weapons of mass destruction = 2016 Russian collusion.

If only you lot would start thinking for yourselves you would realise we have a lot in common.

The world is run by covert operations and usury.

I'd love Trump to win, largely because of the type of people who'd be terminally pissed off.

I have long thought Biden might just be a short term stop gap or stalking horse. A means to an end. The important thing is that he won't be someone who considers himself infallible. He will lead a team and listen to experts. He isn't the perfect answer by any means but he is a better option than another 4 years of Trump.

It has been an absolute stitch up. And driven by forces that want nothing more to a return to how things were. Which is fine. You are happy with that. But don't moan when the next Middle Eastern 'war' breaks out and the Drones start buzzing about again. Don't moan when US and no doubt a shed load of other Western jobs start flooding out East again. And if blacks carry on murdering other blacks at an alarming rate, well who are we to critize another culture? In the main, it is most peaceful banter that just goes a little awry at the end. Nothing to see here.

Just pat yourself on the back, go down on your knees and let us all know just how much of an 'allie' you are to people who loathe you. You must already be tingling in anticpation of of the dopamine hit you are due.

Nothing is horses*** about twitter banning that bollocks, it was a bang on decision.

Total fabricated horses*** from a desperate clan of mugs, led by walking joke Giuliani, to smear the SON of the guy running for president, as they couldn't actually find anything of substance against Joe Biden himself.

As for the rest of your post, I find it as worthwhile debating you as walking into a MAGA rally and trying to find someone with enough mental acuity to justify their extreme conspiracy theory views. Its just pointless.

Throwing the term "not fit to be president" around, is as rich as a deep fried rich tea biscuit, covered in butter.

The clown show could be over soon here, I have my fingers crossed.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I would rather dig up Ronald Reagan's mummified corpse and put that in the oval office.

Saddam Hussein would be a better option than Trump.

My gran could do a better job, and she is bats***.

There are chimpanzees who could show more leadership than Trump.

At least a dog president would be loyal, and wouldn't be a sociopath.

I made a nice curry last night, bit of coconut milk, you know the type. I have some leftover this morning. THAT would be a better president. A bowl of cold thai curry.

Anything will do.

The left are moving left and the right are moving right.

What most don't realise is that they will most likely end up in the same place.

The only difference I see is that many on the right are already starting to realise this.

The idea that people like me "need to start thinking for ourselves" is the most ridiculous load of garbage
that comes from those who support Trump. It's the reverse which is true.

For the umpteenth time I am not a "lefty" at all. I am a social democrat.

The "deep state" is a mythical enemy dreamed up by the populists to give their supporters a target to rile against. It doesn't exist. What does are the institutions of the state, trying their best to keep everything running smoothly and legally. To believe in conspiracy theories for which there is no credible evidence is the last refuge of desperate idiots.

Globalisation is a reality. It's the tide of human progress which cannot be reversed. You either embrace it and learn how to live with it, or be consumed by it, either by decline or war.

Of course the Trump campaign milked the Russian interference in 2016, just as leave did in the UK. Trump obstructed the enquiry, of that there is no doubt at all. Barr though, with his determination that a sitting POTUS is immune from prosecution protected him, at least until he gets removed. So whether it could be proved or not became irrelevant. The fat lady hasn't sung yet.

Vindman is part of the deep state.

A career military man, having taken shrapnel from an IED in Iraq. A man of honor.

He hears the president clearly trying to bribe a foreign leader to launch a phony investigation into a political rival in exchange for funding and reports this outrageous act.

His career is ruined and he is vilifed by the right.

That is your deep state. It is not a team of never Trumpers trying to attack him all the time.

It is career people who cannot idly stand by and watch illegal and egregious abuses of power. People who put their country before their own personal careers, and are willing to risk losing the normality of their private lives, to hold a tyrant to account.
