Interesting.

I wonder if she was given the option of not taking the vaccination.

She's not even the only female BBC radio presenter to have a bad reaction.

I spent yesterday loading a skip with unused PPE that cost £10,000, bought by a Local Authority. That is a very small tip of the ice-berg. Dozens of skips have already been sent to landfill from this one (small) depot. Imagine that replicated at the thousands of other small deports (and large depots) across the country.

And no, the PPE could no be re-used. And each skip costs more money to be emptied. ££££ kerching.

Lots of people have got very rich due to COVID. Becasue these are the contracts that were actually fulfilled.
No-one knows how many contracts were paid up-front and never actually delivered.

Would have been cheaper to be knocked by the looks of it

Not to mention tens of thousands of ventilators, track and trace contracts, test kits, media contracts (all the media reviewed huge “advertising” contracts), signage etc. It just goes on and on.

People do not understand how much £400billion is.

Your £10k is less than 0.00001 percent of what was spent (£40k)

For a virus with a 99.97 percent recovery rate.

I trust you also feel for the many more who died because of Covid. Every death is regrettable, just as every precaution carries an element of risk. Getting the balance right is the challenge, and we did.

Here are some analyses by the ONS for you to pick the bones out of. 15 deaths are very regrettable, but compared to all those saved, the effort seems, on balance, heavily in favour of the vaccination programme being a complete success.
