I predict that Newcastle supporters will fill the away section and a sea of black and white will provide raucous support for their team if they are perform with greater aplomb than us and lead in the game.
This will provide a stark contrast to the reaction of our supporters who will fire mortar shells in the rich arsenal of ordure.Gladitorial hostility will be very much in evidence.

Keep it tight in the first half.
4 across the back defending narrow, let them have space down the wings.
3 holding midfielders.
Roll it around sideways and backwards until you get shut down, then boot it upfield.
Any out ball just give it to Wilf. Who will be double, team, rotational fouling and will have a strop with the ref.
Luka needless yellow card.
Come out after half time half asleep, give up a sloppy goal in the first 15 minutes.
Start attacking but with no real purpose.
75 mins - change Benteke, Tosun, or Ayew, for Benteke, Tosun or Ayew (depending on who starts and who is on the bench).
Give up late second goal, lose 0-2.
Post-match interview: Very pleased, team worked very hard. Unlucky to give up the first goal where we just switched off for a few minutes. Unlucky not to equalise. Second goal was against the run of play. Thought a draw would be a fair result. Difficult due to injuries.
Fans reaction: We are very lucky to have Roy. Other results went our way.
Last on MOTD.
Rinse & repeat.

This is hilarious if it wasn't so accurate! LOL ... fair play, great post!

I think Roy's mantra is "Don't fix it if it ain't broke."

Broke in this instance must be losing each game 4 or 5 nil.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Although not a must win game, I think the Newcastle match could be pivotal in how things pan out for the rest of the season.

A win of any sort would be a real fillip for club and supporters alike. Another defeat could be a real confidence destroyer.

2-1 to Palace, although, sad to say, as things stand predicting us scoring two is the height of optimism.

Absolutely.

Between today and Sunday, all the teams below us are away from home and I would suggest that they all won't get maximum points.Perhaps none of them will!
A win for us on Saturday will in all likelihood have us well placed to avoid the dreaded drop.

Yes, a much needed win will settle our nerves.
Meanwhile, tonight, hoping for a massive City home win against W.Ham to help our cause.

I can't beleive I'm saying this, but I think we need Schlupp back from injury. He is one of the few we have that will make a driving run from midfield. I would be tempted to play a midfield of Schlupp left, Miliovojevic and Kouyate centre, Townsend right, Wilf in a free role and either Ayew or Benteke up top depending on how Newcastle set up.

I have predicted 0-0 already however as Roy will pick McArthur, Milivojevic and either Kouyate or McArthy. If ever there was ever a match to be streamed rather than watched live it is probably this one.

It wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't feature on MOTD at all given the likely outcome. Still, stranger things have happened!

Yes, although would be sincerely disheartening were WHU to nick something.

Will try to wear something sky blue in the hopes of 4+-0 for City!

It's that time of year again when I support an additional 5 or 6 teams as well as Palace each weekend.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I'm kind of with you on that. He has his off days but he did have some decent performances early in the season, and he does bring some energy to the side.

Yep, such is our lack of attacking midfield options.

Schlupp has scored more goals than Benteke since the start of last season!

He provides some physicality, can be a direct runner with the ball and being left-footed provides some balance in the midfield.Has also chipped in with goals from open play.I view him in a a more positive light than quite a few on HOL.
