Had a good game of bowls this morning, my first loss of the winter season, but still enjoyable. Then a long walk with my dog in the beautiful Cornish countryside, with views down the river. Lots of bird life and peace. Who could be tight with that?

Many care about their issues and when they get to a point that the BBC is more important than food, a roof and living I'm sure they will.

As for the Beeb, I know a handful of people who don't bother with a license, and not for particularly ideological reasons. So I'd say that if someone proudly disagrees with it, go that route. They will send letters, knock at the door occasionally, which of course is madness, but you'll be living your principles at least.

Most of us believe that there are things that need to be changed, so campaigning is perfectly reasonable. Disobeying the law is not, though. Down that road lies anarchy.
