Prince Phillip may have departed but you know you always have us, the BBC, at least until 2038 anyway.

Here is a nice furry animal tale to end this bulletin.

'Hedgerow highway will keep dormice thriving in the Yorkshire Dales'.

Aaaah, I feel better already..........

May I suggest you go back on the medication!

maybe we will need to throw the bloody book of Law at the Beeb ?

just to get them to demonstrate inclusivity towards Conservative Hetero White British men ?

I assume that all broadcasters have to adhere to a code of practice as well as the law so why should the BBC be treated different?

Isn't it how companies decide to create HR practices so that they confirm the key point.

I don't understand your point what is bias about companies creating their own policies to conform to the law?

Those policies may be sensible or not each company will have to decide to decide how the law applies to them.

sure, there is no bias in making a programme about European History and putting in loads of afro-caribbean actors. no bias at all.

Which law? Are you referring to the Royal Charter?

Secondary legislation derived from the Equality Act.

I am asking what law requires the BBC to demonstrate inclusivity and equality.

I am not aware of such a law and if there is a law that requires this I would like to be educated.

Putting " by law " in bold font for emphasis implies it is factually accurate.

How is asking a question shutting down debate?

I think the dig was aimed my way

I am asking a question, why would you think this is a "dig " at you?

If there is a law that requires the BBC to act with inclusivity and equality then I would like to know.

If there is not then that's fine.

Don't really understand why if someone posts something that is possibly incorrect and is then asked for clarification that it is considered a personal dig.

The Equality Act 2010 makes no reference to broadcasting as far as I am aware so please enlighten on the secondary legislation that requires the BBC to act in a certain way by virtue of being a publicly funded broadcaster ( which is the reason the BBC is subject to a Royal Charter and other broadcasters are not ).

The points and criticism about the BBC on here are, in the main , about content not general corporate behaviour.

Let's see SP and the board trying to line up for a piss in the AW toilets at half time before peddling the new stand. We're the Arthur over here and the facilities are a disgrace

Strange isn't it, despite the groundswell of views that the BBC has gone too far in it's diversity culture (and I'm one of them), of the 13m or so who watched Philip's funeral, 11m tuned into BBC and only 2m into ITV.

Dad and I would watch games on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end, probably at the same time as Roy.

I've been, and remain (are you allowed to use that word?) a strong critic of the BBC and the way that they are morphing, but credit where credit's due, I thought their coverage of Prince Philip's funeral on Saturday was faultless. All the better for having virtually no voicing over the event.

Stick to what you're good at would be my take on it.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

So for them to be any good more Royals need to pop their clogs?

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..
