Which bit of the film was that Argile?

The way our seasons always pan out, presumably it is the cliff-hangar scene!

Thanks for posting great watch.

There was a TV series last year called The Widow. They were in the middle of the Congo, when out of nowhere turns up a guy wearing a Palace shirt, who gives them directions. Sadly I got very exited over this.

I think it was Crystal Palace Park rather than Selhurst - but still a good shout.

The infamous "you're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!" scene

Yes, I’ve been alerted to that scene by a few. What is it about the excitement of hearing/ seeing Palace mentioned in a non football related programme? When I was a kid it would make my weekend if Eric Morecambe told a joke that involved us.

Anyone remember ‘Too much Sun’? It was a short-lived BBC sitcom written by Palace fan and Hollywood writer/actor Jim Piddock. It featured Lee Majors and had a secondary character who supported Palace (which he frequently mentioned).

I don't know suppose there's any footage anywhere. The character can be seen here wearing the TFG ‘administration’ kit. [Link]

Great shout!

No I don't remember it, but I certainly like the look of Julienne Davis in the outfit she's wearing in the photo

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I believe the Palace fan was the stupid one but, that, of course, is a completely inaccurate portrayal of any of us.

Pretty sure it was Selhurst, you can see the pitch and players in the background,

It was Michael Cane and I think Stanley Backster (the guy from Zulu) think they were planning the robbery or maybe Cane was recruiting him

Thanks to all those posters that gave me the heads up on various other times we've appeared on things.

Again i had to minimise a couple to avoid the YouTube copyright bot, but hopefully that won't spoil it too much.
