don't think there was a queue behind Spurs when they bought Dele Ali, so wouldn't worry too much about lack of interest from other clubs. Worst case he's still young enough too have a sell on value if he proves us wrong in a couple of years.

The trail seems to have cold so far as Downes and Palace are concerned, with no hint of any further bids as yet, and Downes is currently out of the Ipswich first team. I wonder if he is still on the Palace radar, or we have gone on to other targets? ITK needed if possible!
