Is banksi not a glorified people smuggler?
Why shouldn't he face jail?

I wonder how many asylum seekers are living with Banksy?

Most of these charity boats appear to be crewed by Germans who understand that these people will not stay in Germany but head for the UK.

When the crew are interviewed you can see the goodness halo they emanate

Let's see SP and the board trying to line up for a piss in the AW toilets at half time before peddling the new stand. We're the Arthur over here and the facilities are a disgrace

That is a big load of b****cks. If you believe his figures (and I donít) 1% of the worlds refugees, do we have 1% of the worlds inhabitable space? Probably not.
Looking at the White Cliffs from the other side of the Channel. That will be from a safe 3rd country where he could have sought Asylum.
If we donít help them and have a fair system, why do they come here?
All are accommodated as soon as they arrive but we donít help them!!
How many in Cornwall WE, once they start arriving there watch the barricades go up, jeez they only want British tourists when suits

Or not.

Remember the start of the lockdown the first to complain about tourists were the Cornish politicians. Something about the public resources being over stretched especially the NHS. Of course living in the SE we haven't a clue what their on about after all allowing in thousands of people each year is a good thing and doesn't impact on public services in the slightest.

I had planned a holiday to Cornwall not now though when things get back to normal the same politicians will be moaning about the impact on the local economy.

Exactly. My neighbours are refusing to go to Cornwall anymore on principle. Their NHS would be stretched if we started moving refugees into the area

The authorities here were concerned at the start of the pandemic that an unanticipated heavy surge of visitors, particularly second homeowners trying to escape the cities, would overwhelm the limited health resources, which would not be in anyone's best interests. We have moved on from there now and there have been a lot of tourists here in the past weeks. The difference this year being primarily that they are all UK based, whereas in normal years they arrive from all over the world.

Didnít know the pandemic started in July!

What would the reaction be if asylum seekers started to arrive in their droves?

Frankly, without any irony, that's usually the doctors.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!

400 yes 400! arrived at Dover yesterday. Maybe it is time to relocate some to places like Cornwall and the Cotswolds.
Still at least are happy they are here;
