Get the feeling Eze has displaced Ayew and a bit of an upgrade in terms of being able to keep a hold of the ball and move it or move with it.

Team better suits Benteke now and he certainly looks more useful in this system, for me anyway. Lets hope he gets some more goals too!

Let’s hope Eze has replaced Ayew, rather see a player playing with a smile on their face, Ayew always looks so miserable.. Benteke playing makes the team play better, he gives an out ball from the back, he gave Dier a torrid time yesterday.

You’re comparing apples and oranges.

At his most lean, Benteke probably weights about 25kg more than Vardy. He’s never going to have anywhere near the same speed or work rate and shouldn’t be expected to play the same role.

what a strange reply. I'm talking about Benteke repeatedly being offside in the 2nd phase of an attack because he's too slow getting back or unaware of his position.

Nothing to do with speed or weight - merely having a football brain.
Vardy's not the sharpest but he has learnt to avoid offsides i.e not making his run too early etc.
Don't think it's too much to ask a highly paid experienced international football to avoid being offside so much

Tekkers won every header against Spurs and played well throughout . Pity he didn’t hit the target with the header from the corner in the second half, but he has had a massive up turn in form...

He’s getting more time and space as Eze and Wilf are stretching the oppositions defence.

He is the best CF at the club. Not difficult I grant you, but an in form Benteke is a handful for any CH out there. Unless you play like Liverpool or Man City you need a target man to hold the ball up and challenge in the air. He does both of these well. He lacks confidence but as you rightly say he is looking more and more comfortable. I’m happy with his last two performances, let’s hope he can keep it up.

One thing is for sure, I can’t see Roy changing the Front 4 of Eze, Zaha, Benteke and Schlupp unless there is an injury.

I thought you were talking about Benteke not Batshuayi!

Agreed. He said in the post-match interview that the eleven he put out against Spurs is our strongest team at the moment in his view. He seemed to suggest that change will only happen if one or more players haven't recovered sufficiently.

Considering Ayew won us seventeen points last season that's quite a disrespectful piece for him to see and read. I hope to see him included again very soon, he has amazing ability on the ball smile or no smile.

Always remember Marlon King playing with a smile on his face - turns out he's not so nice - served jail time twice, i think, the 2nd time for beating up a woman who spurned his advances whilst out celebrating the birth of his child.

Appears smiling on the pitch is not a good way to judge someone

They are spelt differently, therein lies the clue.

Obviously my sarcasm was lost in translation.

Sarcasm is hardly ever worthwhile.

We still don’t put enough crosses into the box to really play to his strengths.
