Close to the end of the road for Roy now I'd say. We can't have a repeat of this next season.

Not much to do. Roy says football is like a drug to him so he cant let go. He is addicted to doling dross week in week out and our Chairman is OK with this. This is not the football that made me a palace fan.

I doubt Roy is enjoying this stuff at his age so I'll be surprised if he wants another season anyway.

What I would say is that we have players on significant wages who...may have been worth them once upon a time but really aren't worth nowadays.....Benteke, Sakho spring readily to mind.

Let's hope we limp to the 40 points this season because next time round Crystal Palace will have plenty of new personnel let alone a probable new manager.

No ifs and no buts anymore, he needs to go. One win in nine games is utterly unacceptable and is relegation form. We're nine points ahead of the drop zone and just better pray that Fulham lose their games in hand or that could narrow very quickly.

He has taken all the joy out of supporting Palace at the moment. I'm utterly sick of his infuriating team selections, horrifically negative tactics and absolutely bizarre reluctance to make any sort of positive substitutions until we're already two goals down.

It isn't just Roy, I absolutely blame the board as well for a continued lack of investment that is tantamount to negligence. However, seeing as we are seemingly stuck with them, the least we could do is hire someone who, at the very least, offers the pretence of wishing to play vaguely entertaining football.

Defensively a total and utter mess.

I think Guita’s overrated and gets a free pass sometimes cos he’s not Hennessey.

I’ve never been a big fan of his and always seemed to be the weak link when we got a good result v Chelsea.

Just read this "Ray Lewington was not part of the Palace bench today, and Hodgson explained why:

"Unfortunately he's having to isolate at the moment because of coronavirus. We'll have to wait until that isolation period is over before we can welcome him back. "

so where was the direction from the bench from Roy, did any one spot any movement any encouragement any reorganisation!!

Fact is its clearly gone Stake players benefit from changes this is a fact no only are we playing the same team from 2016 with with some from further back its the same manager to its gone stale the style of football is changing in the press its all about pace now and we have none of it. Especially in midfielder Luka might be the worst passer I've ever seen Jimmy mac is being asked to run around like he is 23 in a 2 man midfield in his 30s and roy won't change to a midfield 3 its just driving me mental. To top it off they go and sign a striker and that's it news flash Parisj you f***ing idiot we don't need strikers maybe the current crop would score if you had a midfield capable of getting the ball into the oppositions half without losing it.

Roy in. I just don't know what I would read to brighten up my day other than a post match plastic fan melt. Some of this stuff written about Roy Hodgson is so off-fact it makes Mr Dodgson's writings sensible!

Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers

Although I’m not disagreeing with you, we played 3 in midfield last few seasons and a lot of people were complaining and saying they wanted two up top. So Roy’s changed it this season and now our midfield is being exposed any time we play anyone decent.

It's now surely as simple as:

1)The tactics aren't working
2)The man in charge of the tactics won't change them
3)The board should change the man in charge of the tactics.
Do it tomorrow.

Attack for an hour. If We are going to lose it might as well be a bit less boring.

The front 4 plus Jairo (with Mateta in place of Batshuayi) agreed.

McArthur needs a rest (two more games next week).
As for defence, suspect Clyne might come in and just hope Tomkins will be fit.

As for Benteke, he can go to Big Sam tomorrow as far as I'm concerned.
