I'm not convinced West Ham's goal was as good as people are making out. It was a well taken finish, but Kouyate should have tracked the cross and cut it out. Instead he just ended up ball watching.

He had more then one at a time on him lol, but he never ever seems to be able to pass quickly first time, he makes it too easy because they know he will try and beat them four times and as such they will put five players on him and that's that.

What concerns me more though is our inability to defend crosses, they scored last night because no one even tried to block that cross.

That said, he is clearly a very special talent and amazing on the ball. He seems to be getting better and better with each game and no doubt Roy and Ray will only improve his all round game as time passes.

Credit where its due, that was a good performance. Our link up play up front is really quite good. Townshend came in and played superb, maybe dropping him spurred him on? Ward was solid. Didn't Andy Carroll score a similar goal against us in a previous West Ham game and if I remember rightly it was only a week or two after Olivier Giroud had scored something similar against us too
