BTW too early to post. It would be a long time before any clear evidence came through on impact even without covid.

I still live in a deluded hope that we emerge in some brighter and better world and I have to freely admit that I was wrong. The alternative is too miserable to contemplate.

If the move to speak English is to make it easier to come here why is that a good thing?

Wouldn’t you rather be blown up in your own language than in Arabic?

Used to be rich in agriculture - mainly hydrocarbons now.

Good point.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!

If you voted for Brexit do the rest of us a favour and kill yourselves you racist motherf***ers

F**k me, that got out of hand fast! I had the debate about work opportunities with a friend of mine - she'd spent time living and working in America, and me in Africa, so both been overseas in places with no automatic rights to live or work, you just need to show that your skills are essential. the idea that booze and fags are an important factor for some, and with such vitriol is slightly terrifying

Fair comment.

6 months to see if the teething problems are sorted and 5 years to see if the economy is booming or suffering I would say.

Absolutely. The power of a small tick in a box to enable us to leave rent-free in the heads of Remoaners is quite delicious.

The ultimate electoral gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving.

When they ask me why I voted Leave I don't even bother giving them any real reasons. Zero-point. Utter waste of effort because they are intellectually incapable of dealing with any reasoned argument. Instead, just throwing out flippant comments like 'bendy bananas' or 'because I tossed a coin'. Their reactions are glorious to behold.

In 1967, when Polish mercenary Rafal Ganowicz was asked what it felt like to take human life, replied: "I wouldn't know, I've only ever killed communists."

No come on. Tell us what you really think .

As with any decision, it is useful to ask people why they voted as they did and apply at least some thought to that, rather than solely apply such shocking and absolute broad strokes.

You have to admire the conviction, if not perhaps the direction of it..
