Haha they are grown under glass.

'Desperately seeking Susan'.

An excuse for every brexit problem.

in this case I ask for stats.

If anything people are not heating the "glass" due to more global issues than Brexit.

Your position is weaker than Corbyn's dick in Abbott's mouth.

An interesting proposition.

EU citizens should have the power to sack and appoint the EU commission via direct elections, as they would if they lived in a democracy.

It is already democratic. Just a different type to the style you seem to believe meets every circumstance. One size doesn’t though fit all.

Every one of them can vote in Parliamentary elections in their own country. Parliaments which choose their leader who can, if the desire is strong enough, in concert with the other leaders make that change. They would have to be convinced it would produce better outcomes.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

They are selective facts that do not give the whole picture. From the EU’s own website:
The EU ‘parliament’ can debate legislation. It can pass or reject laws, and it can also make amendments, but not in all cases. If the law is about EU budgets, the 'parliament' can only advise on it – it does not have the power to reject the law. For so called 'special legislative procedures' the EU 'parliament' has only a consultative role.
It establishes an EU budget (along with the Council of the EU). Laws must also be passed by the [self-appointed] Council of the EU in order to become law.
Unlike most national parliaments, the European Parliament cannot initiate legislation. The [unelected] European Commission is the only EU institution with the power to initiate new laws.

OK, I just lifted that straight from an EU website

i don't recall any UK politicians being sacked. Some have resigned, or ousted at an election, but I don't recall voters ever forcing someone/sacking them from office.
I am of the opinion the UK is not a Democracy. When was the last Government voted in by the majority of the electorate ?

The Recall Act allows for that to happen, there is no equivalent in the EU

So what? I stated in the post that is is from the EU's website. Surely the EU's own website is difficult to argue with?

It is not a democracy if you can't elect the people that make the laws that govern you.

There is no point in regurgitating the same line ad infinitum.

You made your point but it's a dead end.

But it's ok for Wisbech to simply repeat that the EU is a democracy because he thinks it is?
