Twitter founder Jack Dorsey tweets image of JFK, advocates for abolition of CIA, NSA, FBI.

'Splinter the CIA, NSA, and FBI into a thousand pieces and scatter them into the winds.'

Dorsey has always been a liberal but it's very noticeable that amongst believers in free speech that there is pushback against increasing state control of civil freedoms.

People like Musk and Dorsey have powerful voices within how the next election could go....maybe even Kennedy entering the race could stand a chance on the Democratic ticket and drag them away from woke.

In other significant news Ron DeSantis announced that he's running for the GOP ticket. I'm listening to a replay of that Twitter space with Musk where he announced.

The obvious excluded!

They could justify the action as further sanctions on Russia whilst easing their debt problem. There’s probably an enormous flaw that I haven’t seen though!

If reducing a ountries' debt was as easy as claiming you don't like the country holding the debt then wouldn't everybody do it?

I should imagine playing this game would hurt the US far more than Russia.

This kind of thing bothers me anyway. As soon as the message goes out that, 'if we don't like you, we won't hold to commitments' the whole trust system starts to crumble.

No, always honour the contract...Even if that means sometimes you turn one down that could be profitable....Never sign a contract that you won't honour.

Otherwise the house eventually falls as the whole system is based on trust that the contract holds.

The problem is...and always is, low quality elites not following the proven lessons of the past.

The corrosion and degradation of stakeholder civilisation.

The Democratic party are a fully corrupt organisation....so are the GOP but it's the Democrats in power.

Let's look at their selection process for the Democratic ticket.

No debates
Super delegates
Media apparatus censorship

You know who will be having debates....for all its flaws the GOP.

Kennedy is running for the Democratic ticket but he's being blacked out by their corrupt power handling.

Because of that system it may turn out to be little more than an honorary campaign, even though he's likely to appeal to a substantial number of Democrats....and indeed Republicans.

Maybe he'll run in the actual election as an independent.

You got to hand it to Trump, he's ancient but he can still think on his feet with some humour.

Biden, on the other hand might as well be a hand puppet at this point.

No one has ever suggested he cannot think on his feet. It’s what he thinks and that whatever he thinks is always better than what others think that’s the problem.

Acting fast is not always wise or funny. Thinking slow and deep and listening before acting is normally better.

How any party chooses its candidate is a matter for them alone. Making sure a populist doesn’t steal it because of their popularity makes sense to me because parties have a duty to ensure integrity. What happened with Trump ought to serve as a warning.

As I've said I prefer DeSantis, but I disagree with your idea that partys' leaders shouldn't be representing their supporters.

That kind of thinking has led to disaster upon disaster already.

If Trump wins 2024, he's coming for your corrupt degenerates and you're just going to have to watch.

We'll have peace and nuclear death off the table.

Anyway, Emerson Poll came out. It has Trump at 62%, DeSantis at 16, Mike Pence at 7.

I'm hearing that there are growing concerns and fears that maybe 3 more US banks are likely to collapse in the coming days.

Huge investments in Ukrainian Building insurance companies was probably a little unwise.

After 2008 Congress imposed laws on bank solvency with annual stress tests. If this is true it is nothing less than a disgrace and the politicians should take the blame.
