Only on the basis that absolutely ANY ONE could make a better job than a discredited Roy Hodgson I would say yes.

But I would much prefer someone with more PL experience than Lampard.

If it is not Dyche, Howe or Benitez (!) then we should try for Thomas Franck.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

As much as I don’t like Roy’s style of football he is not discredited IMO.

Bring back Brolin

No, thanx - way too inexperienced to battle for survival in PL.

I’m not sure what Frank Lampard has done as a manager to even be considered as a replacement for Roy?

At least someone like Dyche is battled hardened in relegation scraps. Anyway Roy’s going nowhere this season, so it’s as you are....

It’s ok, Frank has been earmarked for the Celtic job which is the equivalent of Division 2 . He will be as safe as sound up there under Nicola Sturgeons wing, as long as she lets him in of course!

We can breath a sigh of relief, it’s ok Roy he’s not taking your job...

Thomas Frank. Good shout. But I very much doubt Parish is listening

I think he did a good job at Chelsea before they were able to spend a shedload.

I'm told that the players that came in for the £200m were not of his choosing (Don't know for sure).
If that is so, then he difficulties he has had latterly are understandable.

I think Roy is tired, worn out and bereft of ideas.
So I'd welcome Frank.

I very much doubt he'll see the job as very attractive though. Perhaps better than relocating to Glasgow maybe?

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Correct, we have the best man for the job here and now, taking into account all our disastrous silly defeats this season we are ten points above Fulham and nine points below Everton and considering the quality of players we have our manager has done a marvellous job with them.

Lampard has shown a strong commitment to youth at a club where £s were thrown at problems in their squad. This would be a strong positive with SP given our upgraded academy will play a big part in our future.

Still a big risk though.
