Hasn’t Roy even stated he doesn’t get the Brighton rivalry?

It doesn’t matter what he or any other manager thinks. Managers are temporary, fans are permanent and the temps should listen to us.

That was Ian Holloway and to be honest I don't understand it either.

Our two managers had a bit of a spat 45 years ago and the two sets of supporters are trying their hardest to keep the manufactured enmity going for ever more.

Some of us supporters of a certain vintage reflect on our rivalry with London clubs, none of this "M23 Derby" hogwash.

Well done the Fanatics,I think Palace supporters generally are a patient bunch but enough is enough. Many other clubs supporters i.e Newcastle would have been burning tyres in the streets having to watch the brand of football we’ve had to endure for years now.

Kinda pissed me off.

I remember a very different tone from the fanbase with regards to these "marquee signings". Parish listened then and it came back to bite him in the arse big time.

It's the same flip flopping opinions that I see here and there amongst the fanbase. After a win we get a post about "pushing for Europe" and after a loss we get a lot of the same fans giving their armchair opinions on the tactics, running of the club and insight into the future.

Agreed, and been saying it for ages, that we're desperately miss the passion that gave the 2010 era it's identity but don't blame Parish for ignoring the fans these past few, and wouldn't blame him not listening now. As a previous poster said there is most certainly a plan, we're just not seeing the fruits of that labour right here and now. Who is it here that has that Ian Holloway quote under their name? It's not instant coffee, you've got to grind the bean.

Look at Borussia Dortmund who play their youngsters regularly. That Jude Bellingham in their first team is only 17 and plays in the Champions league.
With the talent we've got on display in the youth teams we should be giving a few a run at senior level. At least put some on the empty subs seats.

We are far too cautious. Fancy sending Banks back to Scotland on loan.
Im no expert but it just seems to me that we have created an amazing opportunity with the academy. Surely we could blood a few of them.

I keep reading this and I keep asking myself, who are they in this very moment?
Because all proof we have is what I posted yesterday on another thread, which I won't write here again, you can read it here:

This is all good stuff, however neglect over the years in recruiting players has left us with a squad that cannot play this type of football, we saw what happened when Pardew and FdV tried it. Until Parish and his yes men move on we are stuck in this rut.We probably have the worst Chairman,DoF and American investors in the PL and they are holding this club back.

No comment from Parish on a new contract for Roy,Why ?
Because there won't be one! Roy and Ray have no motivation as a result and half the squad's contracts are up in the summer, hardly a great position

Roy and Ray have to go,totally uninspiring football, and whats more playing our best players consistently out of position which is so demoralising for them

Will any journalist be bold enough at the next press conference to ask Hodgson about the plea from the Ultras with regard to negative tactics etc and also the rumours of his dismissal?
He's more likely to be asked about why we can't win without Zaha and whether he's had the vaccine.

Would be interesting to see whether that banner is still in place outside the training ground ? Or its been removed ?

Not a great lover of the ultras, but good on them for that, well said.
