Perhaps the plan, if one can call it that, is to rebuild in the Championship, with the parachute payment and academy players in tow.

He took pretty much equalled what Gary Rowett did at Derby whilst spending far more money & loaning a number of Premier League players. IMO it's not so much a question of who but the type of manager who will function best at Palace. Of the ones so far linked with us I think Dyche and Ismael may be the best fit for us.

Edited by Willo (31 May 2021 11.56pm) Or we employ an optimistic manager who sees the opportunity to bring in their own players and promote players from the youth setup. We desperately needed a clear out of high earners at the end of their careers who barely played. We now have significantly reduced the wage bill and have spaces in the squad for young, hungry players.
