I agree.

How you can go from NES and Favre one week to Cooper the next is truly bizarre- hasn’t achieved anything to deserve a shot at the Palace job.
His record doesn’t compare to even the likes of Wilder in my book!
Okay he won the under 17’s World Cup with a super talented crop of youngsters - good for him, but so what! This is big boys football and his record at Swansea has done little to suggest he deserves a shot at the big league.
I hope this is just more Media BS.

Apparently he’s taking over at Fulham, it’s not Cooper!!

Maybe Ray Lewington with Derry, Seems like a good option to me, he knows the players and youngsters well, give it a go

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Phew! Thanks for that Dartford. I’ve been getting myself all down in the dumps over nothing!
I will be hugely relieved when his Fulham deal is done. Then we can see if all the hype around him is justified.

Steve Parish ran a marketing firm before CPFC2010.

He had no football background whatsoever. If he can do it anyone can.

I dare say I might actually be a better chairman than Parish with his bizarre approach to transfers, inability to run proper managerial searches, and so on.

Who knows I might even be on dragons den by now.

If only you had made that first million eh.

Well he is better than Stevie G and more loyal than John Terry.

Not that I can stand John Terry but that's a truly bizarre comment. He's a one-club man as a player; totally loyal to Chelsea and he's been a one-club man as a coach, sticking with Aston Villa. Whether he's loyal in life (friends, family, etc.) I don't know and I couldn't give a f***. I don't want to be his friend. In football terms, his loyalty to his clubs is beyond question.

And no, I don't want him as our manager.

Negativity about Cooper is baffling. He has picked up the pieces at Swansea and taken them to two consecutive playoffs whilst achieving a £60million transfer PROFIT. He has a proven track record with playing & developing youngsters both with England and Swans (Guehi, Woodman,Rodon). What else is he supposed to have achieved to get the blessing of the footballing experts on here?!?!?

My view is that in the media supporters have seen links to Howe,Lampard,Dyche and of course the episodes relating to Nuno and Favre have been well documented.

I believe Cooper is seen as a rather uninspiring type who has only had 2 seasons club management experience, failed in the play-offs each season and there have been reports of Swansea supporters complaining about the style of football and his use of substitutions.

I believe that in the general our supporters see Cooper as a step down from the more high profile managers which have been linked with us in the media and not the right person to address the challenges our club faces at this time. They might even believe that he is not a person to attract good players to the club.

Clearly, given what we’re hearing, it’s between Lampard or Cooper. I would take Lampard all day long so let’s just hope that the club make the right decision but they need to do it soon.

Just wish parish would go all out and bring lampard in proven to help bring youngsters through. Wouldnt have been my first choice with the likes of nuno and favre but still lampard could be a decent appointment.
