For all the daft comments we will be making a huge mistake to get rid of Roy. What have the two favoured candidates have on their C.V.? Eddie Howe trophies ? Just a relegation. Lampard who was accused of a game plan at Chelsea of simply saying "express yourselves" Stick with Roy the grass is not greener elsewhere.

No, he has not lost it. Roy’s job, his objectives are to keep us in the premier league (at all costs) and win some football matches. He then picks a squad that is capable of doing that. We are safe (comfortably) and we have won today. Yet, he still gets criticised. He simply cannot win in the eyes of the minority of fans. However, I bet Parish and the US investers love him.

Loooool. Nice to see you proved you wrong. Up to 13th. This time next season without Roy we'll be 17th and you'll be begging we still had "never had it" Roy. Woy's played 4-4-2 all season. If he stays next season it will be back to 4-4-2 negative crap until we avoid relegation. Just think of how much better the season would have been if he'd have played that way all year.

Let’s hope he keeps that selection for Wednesday
Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season? |

I think it's great that we are ending the season on the front foot, but these games are throwaway really. It will be a good way to say goodbye to Roy in my view, going out on a high with a hearty thanks for stabilising the club at a time of great need. Given Wilf, Andros, Bentenke and Eze have been fit most of the season you can't help but wonder could and should we have done better this year, even with a crocked defence? If Roy does stay on then we can only hope next season he puts a little more faith in our front players. Even though I want a change, I do like Roy, so I won't be cheering if he goes, just giving him a well-deserved round of applause.

How much more likely will we be to persuade Zaha and Eze to stay if we play in a more positive way.
