The team today shows what a superb job Roy has done this season and what a huge task it will be for his successor to build a competitive squad for next season.
One mid-week game, a couple of injuries and we are down to the bare bones with very little chance of being competitive.

I would just put Ayew on the left and give Zaha the freedom to go wherever he wants. If we're going to play a wide man up top we might as well put one there who scores. Last season Ayew played really well up top but his confidence seems down again. Liverpool have a questionable centre-back pairing so we really need to try and find a way of getting at them. It will take an extraordinary effort to get something out of this, but I've made Wilf my captain in fantasy football because I feel like a fairy tale ending. If we're physical then we might wind them up, so let's get the knuckle dusters out

A distinct lack of pace across the board, I'd expect Liverpool to be too quick for us to handle. The long out ball isn't on either, probably going to be a long afternoon.
