Exactly so Badger. My sentiments entirely.

I remember at school, one of the girls had been photographed in a somewhat compromising position on a Polaroid and just one, rather grubby picture was passed around the school for the boys gratification. That's about as wide a circulation as you could achieve in olden days.

Not a Box Brownie?

I doubt whether anywhere in Sri Lanka is cool

You're very lucky as I'd love to see cricket over there

Random strangers handed us (and everyone else sitting near them) beers and sausages. Probably made by CMOT Dibbler for those that read Pratchett but very kind.

It’s now 30 years since Lad Culture was all the rage in certain quarters. Wonder how many 50 year olds, now in management positions, who were desperate to prove their “Geezer” credentials back then are looking over their shoulder.

Another example of the Media being Judge, jury and executioner, and why they are a blight on our society.

18 at the time. He was punished at the time (pretty severely too, getting fired by Yorkshire). Has he done it since? No. Now he's being punished again thanks to some dirty, unprincipled, bloodsucking parasite who's only job is to dig up as much dirt on people more popular than them to pay their wages so they can keep seeing Mistress Mary.

If it was a real Court of Law, it'd be thrown out - not least than he's already been tried for it.

I honestly don't know why people want to be Sport stars in this country.

We already had it with one of ours from around the same time. Can't remember his name and it was a coaching/scouting role. Used to work for Cardiff. We sacked him then brought him back, off the top of my head.

The most important thing to the ECB is that everyone they pick has the same opinions on their buzzwords and phrases.

How good they are at bowling and batting is secondary.

Botham and Gower would have never made it.

I watched a succession of Black and Asian people telling us how Robinson should repent his sins and be properly punished on the BBC this morning.

One of them was Monty Panasar.

You couldn't make it up. Oddly, he didn't want to talk about his past.
