Nah, that's piss easy to understand. Just take a look at the state of any and every w***er who tried to overturn the June 23rd, 2016 referendum result. Those are the tossers who gifted number 10 to Johnson. Those are the ones he truly needs to thank.

It does make you wonder whats gone wrong if this lot are the best we can get, going back we would moan about the pm of the time but any of them would look presidential compared to this lot! It"s a bit like kids in a classroom, one does something daring, and gets away with it, so someone else does something a bit naughtier , until the whole class is at it and control is lost. This lot have all had their fingers in the jar, only we"re talking millions and millions, and if you are part of the gang, you think I might as well, so an so will only have double if I don"t! I think the chancellor Ricci needs to take over and have a clear out, he"s worth £2 billion, he don"t need the cash.

Fair enough I’ll take your word for it and gladly accept the apology as no harm done but I have actually been reading the holmesdale online for probably more than 8 years possibly 10-12 (not too sure of the exact date) so im definitely not new here at all ...I do try and stay away from reading the political posts on here as it seems sometimes to be like an unofficial ‘football lads alliance’/ ‘edl’ meeting at times can be quite disappointing at times but there sometimes are some valid points raised and skilfully defended..

Yes, it was those kind of posts that my post was contradicting, but don"t stay away from here, theres nothing much going on at the moment but when something does, we need all our good defenders on the pitch!

It makes you want to weep the poor quality of MP's today. Go back to pre and post war HOC some real intellectual giants on all sides of the house. There was strength in depth today they are just drones in suits. We should save the taxpayer some money and replace them with robots.

But yes, not a great advertisement for 'Whiteness', I will concede although I do believe he is part Turk. Which explains a lot.

However, whatever you might thifnk of him, and in my case it's not too fondly, he does have that special gravy. Was in the company of some foreign types the other night and the news was showing Johnson making a complete mess of something as simple as opening an umbrella. All I could think was 'what a moron', yet the company I was in all started laughing and joking about him in an affectionate way that absolutely stunned me.

Real people, as opposed to sad political geeks like us, do actually like him for reasons I cannot fathom. By all conventional metiers of the political zeitgeist we exist in then Johnson should struggle to even make it to local council seat, let alone PM with an 80 seat majority.

But he does. And there is no other explanation for his success other than the fact he has a certain charisma, that escapes the likes of us, which appeals.

That horribly simple.
