Each of them went on to get employment opportunities quite quickly afterwards. Does this prove that racism plays no part in the employment process? No, you'd need the data around number of black applicants to be overlooked in favour of white candidates of similar status for that, but my personal experience is as above, so if you want me to agree with you then you need to overcome not only your lack of facts but also my personal experience.

Then put them all in one category based largely on their race and tell yourself you don't need to distinguish between them, like you have? People like me? So you know what kind of person I am from a two line post asking you to justify an allegation based on a series of negative presumptions and stereotypes, and you respond by labelling me with negative presumptions and stereotypes.

I'm all for hearing peoples personal experiences, and for letting them inform me, but even if you've had very difficult experiences in your life you should expect to be asked to justify what you say if you accuse an entire industry of racism.

I think it would be great if Sol bought a club and did it his way. It seems a bit harsh to blame owners who have millions and billions for not backing him if he doesn't back himself. He's young, loaded and could invest in himself if he wants to.

Ok fair enough it just sounded like pointless rhetoric that had no value or direction towards any sort of furthering of the debate..

I mean when you suggest that it’s simply just a case of the opinion of a chairmen of a football clubs board that determines whether or not a black person or white would be employed as a manager it kind of disregards and detracts from the whole point I made about how it’s not just about the application process why black players would be discouraged from taking the route into management..I’m not arguing about the sum of all the factors (which is ultimately the decision at the end of the process) I’m talking about the systemic feeling of being on the peripherals of society not just in football but in the pubs in the newspapers and in the street.

Which is why that toepunt fella missed the point completely as I did not accuse any club or organisation of being racist in the employment process I just merely commented on the stigma that surrounded black players for the last 30/40 years that manifested in various different aggressions from people throwing bananas or shouting black b****** at games to being hung out to dry in the press even as recently as tashford Sterling and saka.

If 0people haven’t noticed the sometimes slight but sometimes huge difference between the way black players and white players are portrayed or perceieved then their nonchalance and naivety is suspect at best.
