Thankfully there are a number of ways that that can be changed. At the ballot box for one, however, I very much doubt he will make it to the next election as the Tory party will through him under the bus when they feel it is necessary and expedient.

Although first, they will need to locate the big red bus and some petrol.

Not sure about that. They have a winning formula in a man who is an expensively educated dunce but is popular. So long as his minders shield him to limit the chances of him having to answer any questions to absolutely zero he can go on forever.

If they slip and he is allowed to speak off cuff to a live mic then he's finished or else damaged.

Anyway the tories can trephin the nation's 1st born right now and still landslide a GE such is the state of opposition.

To be fair to Ange, it"s refreshing to see a politician speak the truth and be original at the same time! The amount of CON mp"s , being interviewed and not going anywhere near answering the question is frustrating to say the least! I wouldn"t give them the hot air time! More of the same please Angela , a refreshing change!

I don't profess to being particularily politically minded, but all I want is a political system whereby it's the job of the opposition to offer a different way of doing things rather than picking holes and throwing s***.

It's an indication of how far Labour and indeed our society has fallen when someone like Rayner can be deputy leader of the opposition.

This is how Labour appeal to the kind of people who are thick enough to believe that she is one of them and that her carefully scripted speech is from the heart.

She is a gutter politician.

What is all the more surprising is that the Tories have been able to fabricate an image that appeals to people who are of sufficient gullibility that they believe these privately educated millionaire incompetents are somehow ‘one of them’. Quite apart from being selected from a veritable ‘talent marmite’ of barrel-scraping, they all quite simply all completely out of their depth. It is entirely clear that if any of them ever attempted a career in the real world they would be rejected as substandard.

These are people with an inability to fully comprehend their own inadequacies should not be in charge of anything let alone the country. Their intellectual failings backed up by moral integrity weaker than damp cardboard. The idea that these people have any interest in the situation of the majority of those that vote for them is risible. We have an electorate so gaslit that the albedo of ignorance could light a small town. An electorate suffering from a collective form of a variant on Stockholm syndrome.

Yes, it is entirely possible that Johnson’s clown act will enable him to continue running the circus for a little bit longer. Sooner or later the doors and then the wheels will fall off. The ringmaster will point out that he is at the controls and BoJo will be quickly fed to the lions.

Frankly, if Angela Rayner hadn't come out with something controversial - who would have listened? The Union people go to the conference on expenses and for a piss up. That's about it.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!

And you believe red politicians have less contempt for their voters. Don't make me laugh. It's dog eat dog within the rules your allowed. Who abused that woman a few years ago. Was it a labour PM. Oh yes not much contempt there eh!

I'm surprised You think Labour would be/are any different. Just a different Barrel, with different failings.

If they were any Kind of opposition they would have won the last election, brexit or not. I've yet to hear an actual policy come out of the labour camp since Corbyn was voted in as Leader.

The irony is that this morning, the news reported that Labour were looking to reform the business tax, and had some ideas on how to sort out that outdated legislation which sounded promising, and completely necessary. It has, though, all been drowned out by the toxic ramblings of their unvote-able leaders...

'People seem to be far more concerned with my choice of language than the fact that @BorisJohnson has made comments that are racist, homophobic and sexist.'

She's right, it appears tank topped bum boys, muslim women pill-boxes, polishing t***s etc. and plenty of other Johnson-balls are of no interest to the masses.

Neither are Rayner's or Rashford's causes, unnecessary hardship and deprivation as Thatcher dished out.

Anyone would think the voters are 'scummy' themselves.

You have misunderstood, I am not defending or supporting the Labour party, just pointing out that the Tories are very far from interested in the concerns of ordinary working people in the UK. I had no intention of making you laugh, I cannot think of anything more serious.

I presume that you are trying to say that there are rules perennate to the conduct of politics in the UK? What are they? Perhaps remaining within the law would be the premier consideration. Beyond that, I believe that good manners and civility should be a measure of a person's character.

As regards MPs that have in the past five years been accused of assault and in a couple of cases convicted the Tories are sadly leading that particular contest.

Yes, they may well be just a different barrel. I would agree entirely that at present Labour appear bereft of policies and ideas. It's a global condition in politics.

Yesterday's election in Germany has brought about a balance of power that reflects the views of the population. The coalition that emerges will no doubt continue to govern Germany in a similar fashion to previous governments.
