The entire sorry episode was staged. The Washington Police unit involved in supposedly 'protecting' the building are tasked full time with this. Day, week, month, even year in and out.

The notion that this rag-tag group of protesters were able to breach the security cordon, which by rights should be amongst the most secure in the world, and make it past cops whose entire reason for being to stop this kind of thing happening beggars belief.

And what do these people do? Take selfies of themselves. They probably could not even believe it themselves. And many have been locked up in awful conditions ever since. They did not loot, they did not burn and they threatened nobody's life. Instead one of them, an unarmed veteran, is shot dead.

The reason similar would not happen to our Parliament is because our police would stop it happening. Just like those Washington Police are specifically there to do and who have successfully dealt with far bigger protests on numerous occasions.

The entire s***-show is a tragic farce.

You are another who needs to watch the documentary.

Isn't it amusing how the far right, who consider themselves just "conservatives", react whenever confronted with opinions that don't match their own. Along with describing anyone even a tiny bit more socially "liberal" as "lefties" they resort to name-calling resonant of a kindergarten.

It's to our country's credit that, although noisy on the internet, they now represent such a small minority. Our education system is doing a good job, at least in this regard.

There are definitely those who subscribe to and believe in far right conspiracy theories.

Does that make them far right though.
Actions speak louder than words both in the positive and negative. If you like labour policy are you a far left socialist.

Most of the left on here would have been called 'far left' years ago.

Most of what is called 'far right', would have just been called 'right wing' years ago.

No danh because I don't spend my life trying to be perfect or worrying what others think of me.

The so called right on here unequivocally condemn the acts of the real far-right such as Mair and Breivik and the acts of paedophiles such as Saville. The so called left on here prevaricate about acts of islamic terrorism and islamic child abuse.

The goalposts havenít changed. This is just a site inhabited by those with very right wing views who use it to help them think theyíre moderate. The views on here couldnít be further away from every Palace fan Iíve ever met in the pubs around Selhurst.
