To my mind Luka is increasingly a liability to the team and adds little or nothing to our play

Last night his free kicks were poor and he continues to pick the wrong pass and give the ball away. He remains one of our set piece takers and we have not scored from a set piece.

Macca is now our midfield General. He leads from the front and has take up that role.

So far not sure what Will Hughes has done but he cannot get a sniff. Maybe time he is given a shout

To be fair to Luka he played well in recent games but did have a mare last night. As for JMac, lucky to stay on the pitch last night and not one of his better performances IMO.

I agree time to see what Hughes can bring to the party.

He wasn't great last night. Sure. But he was part of a midfield that absolutely bossed Arsenal. So he can't have been that bad.

Classic fickle fans. We see one corner that didn't make it past first man and suddenly had had a terrible game, no matter what he does. A couple of games ago he was arguably MOTM.

His passing and ball possession are poor. However, prior to last night he has been better.

It's the retention of set piece duties that I find baffling, he is really poor at them!

Because Gallagher is more of a threat at the edge of the area for loose balls, as his shot at the end of the first half showed.
