Do you mean the migrant crisis that Labour and their friends in the Lords are trying their best to prolong?

Classic lefty hypocrisy.

The poster will never get it. If one doesn’t starve it’s good but it’s at the expense of the other. The other normally your own !

As a communist Steely I don't know how you in good conscience complain about the Tories not running a tight fiscal ship.

I would agree with you on criticising the Tata steel situation however. The Tories deserve criticism for firstly putting this industry into foreign hands and secondly for selling all the family sliver as a policy (also Blairism to be fair).

We are entirely dependent upon foreigners for too much stuff in the UK and that as a country is a pretty unwise situation to be in.

Sure is. They could have offered everyone in the country £5,000 to stay indoors and still saved billions.

Top US magazine slams Britain after 14 years of Tory ‘psychodrama’

Atop US magazine has published a damning assessment of Britain after 14 years of Conservative rule, lashing out at Brexit and the “quickening, lowering churn” of prime ministers since 2010.

The New Yorker’s excoriating report on the state of the UK lays bare how Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union (EU) “catalysed some of the worst tendencies in British politics”, its superficiality, nostalgia, and love of game play.

And it says under successive Tory PMs the country has “suffered grievously” from “years of loss and waste".

And, just to rub it in:

“The only way to think about it is as a psychodrama enacted, for the most part, by a small group of middle-aged men who went to élite private schools, studied at the University of Oxford, and have been climbing and chucking one another off the ladder of British public life—the cursus honorum, as Boris Johnson once called it—ever since.”

Bit rich Americans saying our politics is a psychodrama. It's like Norman Bates telling someone that they are a Mother's Boy.

I agree but, then again, you might say that their criticism is informed.
