Sunaks windfall tax will actually benefit oil and gas companies.

Shell for example can practically avoid the tax by re-investing, that means more fossil fuels.

There is nothing green about it and it further increases doubts about net zero.

The UKs energy plan is hopeless and this does nothing to rectify it.

It would follow that you think it is reasonable to have energy bills hiked up by 20/25% in green levies/taxes in the current situation of spiralling prices .

If you really think that the UK has any influence on emissions by it's policies and actions then I would disagree. China , India and the US will not be influenced by what action the UK takes. UK emissions are falling, global emissions are rising.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Lib Dem Leader is suggesting an electoral pact with Labour at the next GE.

I don't have a problem with that as long as they spell it out to the voters before hand. The last time they did this they betrayed their core vote by abounding the abolition of tuition fees after getting the votes.

Coalitions or pacts are fine as long as the voters know what to expect.

One more point

Unfortunately most left wing people (not all) cannot make the connection between the woke agenda and why the elite are pushing it so hard to the point of tyranny.

There are left wing voices like Jimmy Dore, Russell Brand and to a certain extent Joe Rogan that are starting to though.

There is literally nobody to vote for that would act in the interests of the average person. That’s true across Europe and the anglosphere. At the same time most of our “leaders” are unpopular to the point that they are often jeered or booed in public and have to be constantly shielded by highly armed police units.
