Buy one, get one free.

That would be Mason Mount and Loftus-Cheek?

Why are people wetting themselves about this..??

Yes Connor has been great this season - but he was fairly average last season for WBA - doesn't anyone think that PV's influence is a large part of his improvement.

IMO - he doesn't fit into Chelsea's style of play and is still a long way off getting into their midfield given the resources they have in hand.

If he goes at the end of the season - so be it I have full confidence that PV will identify a suitable replacement.

As many have said all Connor's appearances have been without a fully fit Eze who in my opinion is a more technically adept/astute player. But accepted without Connor's engine.

Personally I can't wait to see Connor, Olise, Eze, Edouard and Zaha all on the pitch at the same time -that is a mouth watering prospect..!!

That aside let's just enjoy Connor playing for us in the form he is in - the rest is out of our and the clubs hands.

We should put him in touch with Jesse Lingard. Return to your home club or rip it up on loan?

Simon Johnson in The Athletic today says that Chelsea do have a recall option in the loan deal and could use it in January. There are quotes from Tuechel suggesting that he won’t use the option until the end of the season but that he will be looking to include Conor in the Chelsea squad next season.

‘ “I loved him from day one,” Tuchel added in November. “As a team-mate, I would have loved to play with him. It is a pleasure to know him, I am super happy that it has worked out so well. He needs to keep his feet on the ground.” ‘

We need to stop fretting and accept that he is a Palace player for this season only.

At WBA he was the boy with his finger in the dyke, they were over run and he had to go deeper.

Eze is a very talented player, but lacks the determination energy and tenacity of CG. My futher big concern is that he is a poor to non-existent tackler - at best he just dangles a foot. Roy was aware of his limitations and likewise Patrick Viera. I am not sure his future is at Selhurst.

I could guarantee you that Eze will be here for the future.
We simply cannot lose players with his natural ability to glide past players, to kick a ball properly, to find space with ease, to pass a ball properly, and any other useful attribute you need to play football in the premier league!

He has tenacity surely.. he played amazing last year in a team not exactly set up for him and Zaha to excel!

My ruptured Achilles ruined my ability to play at 100% but Eze will be just fine I hope and will be a joy to watch for many more years

Gallagher is absolutely immense but even he must admire what Eze can do on the training ground. Them two together with Hughes is what i need to see! And Zaha. And Edouard. EXCITING!!

It’s generated an extra £5 today. Now up to £120 so still a way to go.

Unfortunately, I cant really see him staying with us.

The guy was the best player at WBA, now has stepped up and is our best player, he will have the confidence that he can step up again. Why would he not? Unless TT says he has no chance of playing.

He’s also a Chelsea fan and has been there since he was 8, so if anyone genuinely thinks he is going to turn his back on the chance to play for his club you are mad.

If he barely gets in the Chelsea team next season, he might ask for another loan, or force a move.

He is clearly enjoying playing for Palace, but I do get the impression that the boy just enjoys life.

He is basically using us to show Chelsea what he can do and is openly showing his enjoyment in doing so, we have absolutely no chance of ever signing him because he is too good for us.

Obviously I am not in the know but I heard a commentator recently say that the option to recall in January is only effective if CG starts in less than 50% of our games, I think he has started in pretty much every game so far.
