Off topic... is it just me or has Guaita's distribution been getting worse lately? I mean really bad. It's like he can't hit anything in Palace kit. PV needs to address this methinks. He's still our best GK but this kind of stands out as a problem.

Success will lie to you but failure always tells you the truth.

Just watched the Tuchel press conference on Palace's website.

Unless I missed it (possible as I was skipping 30 secs ahead at a time), not 1 journalist asked about the game on Saturday. I don't think Crystal Palace was named once. Not even sure why Palace TV put it up on the website.

Now I hope we beat them so the journalists with their nose up Tuchel's bum can take it out and wonder why Chelsea actually dropped points this weekend.

I watched it all and NOT one journo asked about the game tomorrow. The only person to mention Palace was Tuchel when responding to an unrelated question he said his focus was on the next game at Palace tomorrow. Even that mention couldn't prompt a journo to ask about the game.

Bill Shankly once said "pick your team what the other mannager likes least" and i am sure Tuchel would rather see Ayew and Hughes/Kouyate than Olise and Eze

Vieira hinted at a change of formation tomorrow without Gallagher.
One suggestion mooted is to match up Chelsea using a 343,but that seems unlikely.
I could see a 451 or even a 442 though.
One media outlet showed Olise, Ayew, Edouard and Zaha all starting which would surely be a first if it happened.
If Mcarthur and Kouyate start I'm hopeful of a better and more complete team performance.

Hope PV will bench the likes of Schlupp, Ayew, Benteke and Kouyate and go for some more exciting line-up. Like ze, Olise, and Edouard to start with, playing a more 4-5-1 than the 4-3-3 where our front three men seem to be chasing shadows most of the time.

Blimey, thats a 'bold' line-up in anybody's language. You were spot on last time OF, will waited with bated breath for 2pm.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Ref David Coote, never heard of him before. Anyone have some background? BW, experienced Martin Olvier the VAR boss.

Since the start of the season under PV we have been playing up from the back. Guaita, when he had the ball will roll it to one of the defenders to take it up via a couple of sideways and back passes. I hardly see Guiata having the ball and kicking it upfield so maybe he is a bit rusty doing it.

Whilst I recognise this may come across as a vicious personal attack before a ball has even been kicked, not a fan of coote at all. Real spine and gutless referee IMO and one who regularly sides with bigger teams including folding under pressure from them.

Definitely has that ‘bullied at school’ feel to him!

You’ll have to excuse me know as I work on this stomach ulcer I’ve been cultivating!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

If we can hold them to a couple of goals or less I'll consider it a victory! Who knows maybe we'll surprise ourselves and score for a change.

There's a whole thread about him on the BBS. Not liked... poor history with us, going back over ten years. Not looking forward to seeing him at his 'best' this afternoon...
