£50m plus would be serious money for strengthening our squad (might even tempt Chelsea to sell us Gallagher - I can hope). in any event that kind of money (minus what might be due to QPR) would allow us to buy a couple of decent players.

Surely Eze will be Gallagher's replacement, He is stronger than a lot of people think, but hopefully his stamina will improve, but i don't think anyone has an engine that Gallagher has

They are not at all similar,Gallagher is all about work rate and the high press,I see Eze as a number ten with bags of flair.

I guess he's young enough to learn more about being an attacking centre midfield player. Was surprised to see Schlupp doing well there and you would think Eze would be more natural in the centre than Schlupp.

Newcastle after Eze?

That’s not even Eze in that picture it’s Adaramola. Next season I wanna see 4231 with Olise Right Eze cam Zaha left and one of the strikers up front preferably Edouard but mateta doing good atm. Eze is an unreal talent and we should keep him

Wishful thinking on their part Den, although if PV continues to leave him on the bench he may well choose to move for regular games.

As much as I am an admirer of the way he plays, the rapidly improving Olise will make it harder for Eze to get his regular place back.

I agree and of course we do not know yet how Eze will be post injury as he has not really had much chance to show us!

I've always rated Schlupp but I was shocked at how good his performance was v Wolves!

£50M for Eze I would absolutely bite your hand off for that. Reinvest in 3 of the best young players in the Championship and we’d be in a much better position.

Same here, a revelation, I'm presuming they've been working on it in training. Schlupp seems in very good shape too. Like a new player since the Liverpool match. He's probably our most direct player currently.

Exactly that yesterday. More than once his sudden upping of the tempo with his quick direct play caught Wolves off balance and created opportunities. Reminded me of his goal against Citeh in the 3-2 at the Etihad. As I recall he just put his head down and ran at the goal.

I’d long thought that was his greatest asset.

I’d struggle to envisage him taking a few touches going back etc. One of those players who almost seems to have a magnet pulling him towards goal.

In great shape, quick, direct, can lash a shot or cross. Has never quite cemented his role or identity within the team but always grateful of him as a squad player. Let’s hope Pat has a vision for him!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Sorry, but I think if NU offer 50mil for Eze then the club would accept it and rightly so!

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
