Any of the older generation on this site play walking football ? If so what's your club & do you fancy organising a friendly ? I've been playing for four years now & surprised how popular it is .

I've been playing for a good few years now...really enjoy it. I'm the ultimate in laziness and play in goal at walking football! The standard has improved a lot over the years and there's a good social side to it which is important as Christchurch (Dorset, not NZ) has got more than a few people who have retired down here so may not know many people locally. We've even got someone who plays for England over-70s. Generally the standard is very mixed from people like me who have only played school football and the like, to a couple of people who played semi-pro when they were young
