Was a great prospect coming through, but as an earlier posted noted, seems to have developed into a remarkably ordinary midfielder. I'm sure he'd 'do a job' for us. perhaps that's why it's a Loan; to Tide us over, and if he really impresses we can buy next season.

Didn’t think I’d be saying this a couple of seasons ago - but I don’t think Winks would improve us. As many have said already there are other better options out there for us and at the money being quoted - doesn’t represent value for money either.

I genuinely don't think that Winks would improve the Palace team; or is our type of player; and, more particularly, would be rated by Vieira. I sense that we are keeping other options open in the press to help to squeeze the Doucoure price.
Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |
