Good luck to the lad, such a shame what he has been through. Seems a docent guy as well but don’t see him staying. Hopefully he can get injury free and play further down the football pyramid

Just read the Charlton forum on Connor Wickham. Most fans not impressed and say the best thing he's done was to steal a wage from Palace, Ouch. There are the usual optimists that if Wickham is fit and if Saturn aligns with Mars he will be a great signing for them. I'm sure the the same comments have been made by the 5 teams he signed for after us. Man of glass.
