Yeah, I'd love to offer some masterful insight into why it wont be him, but in reality I just can't.... I think the first run of 5 games without a win and he'll be out the door and frankly I think the board would probably want that to come straight out the gate so they can give him the heave ho as early as possible.

Whilst I would very much enjoy Lampard getting sacked, especially if Everton were in real trouble, I reckon Jesse Marsch or Thomas Frank may well be the first to go

I find it strange that the bookies have Vieira ahead of Cooper and Gerrard for the sack. Villa have spent a lot of money without really improving under Gerrard, while newly promoted teams are often the first to pull the trigger (especially when they spend like there's no tomorrow). Added to that Vieira seems loved by everyone at the club so I imagine it would take a dramatic turnaround for him to be sacked.

Hassenhuttl hung on somewhat last season and I predict Saints to struggle again so my money is either on him or Silva who seems to rub people up the wrong way, plus I doubt he's happy with Fulham's lack of transfer business. As funny as it would be to see him sacked, I think Frank will hang on at least until Christmas by virtue of the fact no one in their right mind would want to go to Everton right now and they probably can't afford to sack him!

I was thinking around the same. Leeds look rubbish and Brentford were vastly improved by Eriksson. They were on the slide before that.
On the Leeds note, I thought Raphina was rubbish when I saw him. Did I miss something? Suddenly a Barca player - he seemed sh1t.

I would agree for the most part. Leeds have lost arguably their two most important players and from the admittedly little I have seen from them, look like they could be in trouble. Brentford for me is less about Eriksson and more about the second season being the hardest.

I wouldn't say I thought Raphina was rubbish. A good player for an upper mid table prem side at least but Barca was a suprise but then I didn't see him week in week out and I think in theory his stats look great considering the season Leeds had

Yes, 100 % agree, Tuchel an outsider, as Pottechino is available

I was only thinking to myself earlier that Pottechino could be in line for the Newcastle job if Howe doesn't deliver...

Why is Lampard favourite for the chop? Can't see that he's done much wrong since taking up the reins. Probably more to do with Everton's revolving door for managers?

Nobody's mentioned Howe but if they're not near the top 6 after around 10-15 games then heads could roll.
