Again, no idea as to whether there's any truth in all of this.

Referring to German press articles and Fan Boards he is a talent but still very error-prone in the Bundesliga. If this qualifies him as a PL player with immediate impact remains to be seen. But TBF, I can’t assess as I haven’t heard of him before rumours started and haven’t seen anything of him before. So my scepticism may be unfounded.

I would have similar concerns.
It may be indicative of a kind of desperation from the fans that any sign of transfer activity is treated as the answer to our problems.
His signing may well prove to be a good one for the future, but he does not appear to be the experienced physical midfielder and ball winner who would enable our skilful forwards to flourish in the immediate term.
His addition would be a start, but is not the answer in isolation.

But he won't be in time for the big game today against Citeh. Typical Palace timing.

This is the information I have received as well.

Supporters perusing the latest news might be forgiven for concluding that this is an act of desperation by the club and some might opine that he is another player "For the future" and certainly does not fit the profile of the player Vieira believes is required.
Suffice to say, the quoted transfer fee is modest in PL terms.

For the record I have never seen Ahamada ply his trade, indeed only heard of him a couple of days before his name entered the public domain in relation to our club.

I'm not sure anyone with half a brain cell would think this.

The guy is raw, yeah but he's 20. But looks like he has all that attributes required. Stick him in a better team, alongside a solid CM and he could really flourish.
