Yep, the boss gets their way....doesn't mean the rest of us need to be happy about it for the reasons given. And I didn't say that you did.

And I didn't say that you did. Oooh yes you did....You distinctly said I had to be happy about it. In fact you said I had to celebrate it with brandy and a cigar. It's all on record.

That's an unlikely scenario in L1/2. Just keep firing the cheap shots at PV. PV spent 102m euros at Nice, you or I dont know if PV is good or not, Time will tell.

Two different approaches: "You're a bunch of useless lazy cnuts, call that a performance, try playing for the badge with a bit of pride once in a while, cnuts." "Well done lads, didn't quite come off today, but we get to go again on the training ground next week. There's a few things I'd like to put into practice that should bode well for the future."

What's wrong with approach 1 followed by a deep breath then approach 2?

I cannot confirm or deny this, however what is FACT is that we won 2 successive games after the Everton debacle. Edited by Willo (04 Feb 2023 11.02am) Sorry ! I missed out the word “allegedly” in that sentence. Mind you if The Daily Mail says it happened it must be true! I mean they’d never print something that they couldn’t substantiate, would they?

That would be the Shaun Derry that was sacked by Cambridge and Notts County...
The Athletic article states that the Everton case was by no means a one-off. Furthermore, the article adds: "Derry was deemed to have overstepped his roles and responsibilities, with Vieira feeling the 45-year-old’s style of man-management clashed too egregiously with his own". and "At Palace, the job of handling the players was considered to lie with the manager and his assistant Osian Roberts: that was the primary cause of conflict and ultimately led to Derry’s departure"

If you are not happy with your level of responsibility or the direction the manager is taking you discuss with him in private. If you are still not happy I'm afraid you should leave as the boss always gets his way. If this row was in public then he loses straight away even if what he said was right.
