We don’t give 5 year contracts for no reason Agreed, although of course we may just be protecting the asset. Certainly his development into a player good enough for our team is not to be presumed. That said, he's done well and scored goals on his loan. He's on a 1 in 3 goals to games ratio having played every week more or less, whereas most of our young loan players achieve little or nothing when they get games in adult football.

I would love wilf to win a trophy. He only has a few years left. If Arsenal come calling he should go! Surely he is fed up with relegation and s***e football with us.
