In an attempt to stop this descending into another Willo thread and returning to the thread's stated topic, let's see which system(s) Glasner chooses to adopt during the remaining games as this may determine whether or not we need a player of the Clarke ilk.

Knowing that the two senior players brought in during the last transfer window were not expected (known to most palace fans), and that Mr Glasner was on the sidelines (hidden away ready to be revealed since last Autumn by our Chairman and Director of Football) I wonder whether Jack Clarke is (as they seem to have been) in the pipeline to be announced as a new Palace employee in due course.

I think about this player whenever I'm reminded of Wilf's absence in our attack. But the thing is whenever we buy players from Sunderland they usually end up being a disappointment. Gabbiadini and Whickham spring to mind.
