Very enlightening. Palace obviously know this but reckon they can sort him out?

We didn’t have a good track record in getting Benteke, Edouard or Mateta to run around so I reckon I’d give Gray a miss.

I thought we should have moved for him when Everton did for the fee they paid.

I don't seem him being the first name on the team sheet, but a decent squad player with good PL experience.

Be interesting to see what they are asking for him

Somewhere way back in the treads on here I advocated we should have gone for him when Everton were in for him. Was a long time ago and it is arguable he has not fully developed from the potential he showed.

Having said that look at the way Eze talks about Roy, along with Wilf. There is something to be said there that Roy is giving licence for flair players to express themselves and this could bring out the best in a player like Gray which Dyche's style doesn't. May be a cheap deal that suits all parties involved (Remember Everton have a bloated squad and are having issues with FFP).

Gray produces very little is not a team player and Everton will be laughing all the way to the bank if there is any fee involved for this player . A bench warmer who will block junior players from first team chances .

A dog of a player who will quickly be found out by our football savy support . Hope this is just a paper rumour, he is crud .

And we still need a striker

His problem isn't anything to do with playing style. He is lazy and doesn't turn up for training and is extremely unfit

really harsh. A decent player when in the right mindset. Also has the ability to score a worldy. Was probably Everton's best player under Lampard - a low bar admittedly.

A low cost improvement on say Jeff or Ayew IMHO.

We could argue all day about the merits or rather lack of them of this player. He is greedy and will attempt shots when other players are better placed (which achieves the occasional 'worldy') Lazy , doesnt track back which is why Lampard hardly won a game ,that idiot played Deli Ali who cant get a game in the Turkey .

Jeff and Ayew will be insulted to think a player like Gray would threaten their spot in the team , hes way behind them in what he contributes on a football pitch .

I notice that he is not in the Everton team or on bench today. Checked their current injuries and he is not listed.

Is he off somewhere ?
Or
Not impressing Dyche in training ? (Ie. Work ethic has been mentioned).

Yep. Risible that we are even being linked with Gray.

He was also supposed to be off to somewhere else. I think abroad.
