i strongly suspect Leeds will only allow a loan if there is an obligation to buy. To protect us we will want a minimum game clause.
The issue will then be how many games the clause will be.

Yep agree.

Assume that the fee is reasonable (similar to what they paid for him) then a clause of 20 starts/games feels ok.

Also works in our favour, he did ok in a bad team last year, he has the potential to get double figures in a better team, which would price us out of a sale

All well and good if it happens but still need a centre forward and a full back.

Why would Leeds either sell him cheap or send him on loan to us. If there is a relegation clause or trigger clause then fair enough but we don’t know those figures and would still have to pay up and I can’t see us paying £20m plus for him.

The only way I can see this working where Leeds are kept happy is to send JRS the other way. But that would have to be a loan so not sure how that fits in Leeds plans.

I was wondering this as whenever I've seen him I thought he was a bit of a talent. I rate him as their best or second best player - Gnonto close now.

Leeds have signed Spence on loan from Spurs so this may possibly happen.

Sorry had a brain fade and was getting Sinisterra mixed up with Firpo ( who is a left back )
That's is not to say i think we are going to sign Firpo.
