Because it is the falling apart momement. This notion that the West can somehow absorb millions of Muslims and it will all work out ok.

But instead, we see the politics of the Middle East play out on our streets. Whitehall, the heart of the British Government, closed down by mass public prayers of an alien religion and culture. A police 'force' cucked beyond belief in their lack of response.

A religious system whose beliefs are at complete odds with almost every supposedly major tenant of Western civilisation. And people like you cheered this on. Saw them as your allies. Because of what?

Now I hold no candle for the Israelis in all of this. Seeing what they are doing to Gaza as beyond barbaric and breaking every supposed basic of international law around and our fully bought and paid for political class falling over themselves to defend it.

But I also see in these protests across Western cities that we have people in our midst who do not define themselves as we do. Literally a parasitical class who have no loyalty to this nation outside of when it suits them. And who demand absolute adherence to their own stance of Israel being obliterated.

People like you cheered this on. Celebrated their arrival. Hurled disdain and disgust at those of us who dare object.

And the best you can come up with, when one of the most glaring and defined elements of the insanity of your position are bought up, some mealy-mouthed 'yeah but no but?' rebuttal.

Own your mistake. And acknowledge that you have championed a herd of Trojan Horses into our midst. In their millions.

Fear of losing muslim votes now clarifying positions of these three.

The UK is being influenced by the potential votes of a religion, this is very disturbing.

Let's see how Starmer tries to sit on this fence.

Well, he could try lying through his teeth like Boris but as he has got the next General election in the bag he will just play a straight bat. The only snag would be if he promised to print money and throw it around in an irresponsible way like Truss.

A commentator made this point last week. As a nation we are up to our eyeballs in debt and both parties know this. We cannot afford a Labour spending spree or a Tory tax cuts both funded by borrowing.

If either party tells you that they are lying.

Whilst I would not bet against Starmer being the next PM, I am not so sure he has it 'in the bag' at the moment. This is going to hurt Labour, especially if this escalated and the clamour grows (which I think it will) for millions of Palastinians to be relocated to Europe.

Now for the Tories it is easy. They will say they will object (they wont actually do anything to stop it happening but they will at least voice opposition) where for Starmer is not such a cut and dried decision.

Many on his side will be supporting the idea. But for the seats he needs to win, then it has the potential to be a defining moment, in much the same way Brexit was.

Starmer really does face the most difficult decision on this one.

Now I think Labour have made the decision that the Muslim vote will not switch to the Tories no matter what. And that if they continue to play it as being essentially Pro-Israel, it keeps the Red Wall seats onside, or at least does not become an issue.

Plus the funds they need come from the more pro-Israel side in this all.

Post 2024, then it poses questions and I reckon you will see a seperate Muslim political party coming to the fore which presents Labour with other problems but in terms of the GE, then more snakes than ladders for Starmer in backing the pro-Palastine/Hamas side.

since 1946, the Tories have dominated Westminster by promising to be tough on immigration, and actually doing the opposite.

It is now looking like this generation of voters no longer believes their lies.

Absolutely. The one, grudging, bit of respect I have to give to the Left is that they have cheered it on and been mainly honest about it.

But the numbers under this Tory Government, and their utter cowardice in fact of the South Coast invasion means they need banishing forever. Utter betrayal of the worst kind.

as it remains in many Western nations and was law here only a blink in time ago.

Homosexuality was illegal in the UK previously.

That law did not include violence .

At the same time, "both the Quran and the hadith strongly condemn homosexual activity"[10][5][11][12] and some hadith advocate the death penalty for people who engage in any homosexual acts.

You are equating that , which was decriminalised 55 years ago with the Islamic attitude to homosexuality.

So you would not accept claiming to be gay and from a muslim country as a reason for asylum?

What an absurd post.

The actual question that needs considering (and I appreciate it is a rabbit hole people might want to avoid) is why Starmer is risking losing the Muslim vote?

Ultimately politics is about winning. And that means votes. So why would Starmer risk those? Annoying the Muslims make very little conventional sense so you have to ask why?

Starmer has to signal to the US and the powers that be that he will tow the line, even in the face of voter pressure - that's his position here.

Why? Don't see that he would particularly worry about the US or the powers that be, whoever they are.

Perhaps Starmer has found a principle that is a line he will not cross.

He is now in a situation where he has to stay firm on this or lose all credibility.

As I expect him to be next PM I am glad he is showing that he will not flip flop on everything.
