Unfortunately, that would not achieve nothing.

The 'don't look back in anger' thing was a security services set up.....That's exactly the reaction they encourage and invest in.

I agree it achieves nothing but the violent scenes tonight I am not happy about.

I am as angry as anyone about the current immigration situation in ireland but it should not lead to violence like this.

I am sorry but violence is not the answer. It never is. Tomorrow the news will be about thugs rioting and burning the city rather than the innocent children battling for their lives in the hospital right now.

Yeah, that Good Friday agreement was achieved by plenty of nice people making good arguments.

Israel now occupies most of Palestine by the use of convincing rhetoric and strongly worded letters.

America broke free from Britain by politely asking for coffee instead of tea.

Very true but causing damage by protesters seems to be the new normal; BLM, XR etc., so this response is not unsurprising.

There are literally never riots in Ireland. There have been times when international corruption indices have us vying with African countries. Truly, the usual unsaid attitude is that we may be pretty rubbish (although no one admits it - it's unsaid), we are at least "our own" kind of rubbish/incompetence/corruption i.e. not British anymore. To say the least, it's wearing off.
I noticed there have been far fewer flags recently.

Fair enough maybe I am being over emotional this evening with it being a bit too close to home.

The Good Friday agreement was also an amnesty - probably the major reason. Legitimised Sinn Fein - the next government - that's basically winning I would have thought.

Israel's major win has not been Palestine - perhaps their major loss. I'm sure I don't need to say too much. I considered their major victory was Jerusalem.

America was probably France's only real win against England - basically because the army was needed more than the navy. Again, I'm pretty sure you know what mean.

As again, you know - history is not anywhere near the truth, nor fact. Particularly now - but more or less always.

It's somewhat a sad irony that Ireland rid itself of one IRA only to voluntarily travel along a pathway that looks like it'll create another one.

For me, it's just sad that globalism is causing such discord within socieities.

All this is inevitable and I understand why some find it upsetting, but it's our life now......Those who live in nice areas will just experience all this later than others.

Well, perhaps not in England as we decided to fade away.

That's our future folks - Northern Ireland style sectarian violence.

I don’t disagree and don’t condone violence for one second but one only has to look at how the serious disorder and violent protests put paid to the Poll Tax in double quick fashion. I doubt a peaceful vigil would have had the same impact or effect.

They can stop SF tomorrow by banning US vulture funds but they won't. They keep letting every US and Chinese vulture find buy housing estate after housing estate. Can't pay your mortage? No problem, it's gona be sold to Canadian vulture fund.

I see sky news reported the rioters as "far right"

They were not. They were your average inner city scumbags with nothing better to do than riot and loot and used today's tragic terrorist incident as an excuse.
