In general terms, I would be averse to entertaining the signing of any player who takes 'Strike' action in order to facilitate a move away from the club to whom he is contracted. A 'Red flag' would spring to mind.

at least it shows he's keen and he's not letting any communters down, it's not that type of strike

He wouldn't be the first to join us having gone on strike to hurry a move up as there were at least two more that I can recall

Jordan Ayew went on strike at Swansea. People seem quite happy with him.

An ATTACKING right back? How would that fit in with Roy’s principles on the game?

I think he would like ours to offer us a better attacking option. There seem to be plenty of games where our full backs have the opportunity to go forward and they try to cross. However, none of our current squad are fast enough or accurate enough on the right. On the left we only have Mitchell. He's ok but can't play every game and also is just not great in the opponent's half. I believe Munoz would improve our team and suit the system.
If you consider our games, our full backs don't stay back. In fact, they're often caught out too far forwards. Mitchell compensates for his lack of positional awareness through recovery speed - plus he's covered by Guehi, who is also quick. Sometimes it doesn't work - fair enough, but think about how many times you see Mitchell in a foot race with the opposition to get back: he usually makes it.
Consider our other side - Ward and Clyne. Either one is caught out, they can't make it back. I've seen them not even try that hard on the odd occasion. As a consequence Andersen gets pulled across, out of position, and Andersen is not that quick. That's exactly where we get caught out - match after match. It's exactly why Andersen doesn't seem great right now. He'll be fine with someone with pace out wide. Could give Andersen his mojo back if we get a half decent right back. Plus we might even create something if they can cross. Let's face it - our full backs are probably more likely to cross than our inside forwards. Olise or Schlupp, Eze or Ayew - they all cross rarely. All prefer to take it on themselves. And look, surprise, surprise - we're not scoring.
If Munoz doesn't come we need to rethink this regardless. We are not creative from wide positions. Add to that our lack of creativity through the middle and we are where we are. Add in we don't practice set pieces and then we see why we're in dire straits.

We could do with a good right back. We’ve been asking for it for years. Maybe unglamorous but vital.

No disrespect to Ward or Clyne but he’s needed.

Clyne has actually looked good recently. Getting forward and posing a real speedy threat.

Dare I say it, but we could also do with a bit of competition for Mitchell who can often look like a startled rabbit in the headlights.
